SuperValu

UX Design
Project Overview
The brief provided by Musgraves Group wanted to know how might we create a more enjoyable shopping experience for people living with autism in order to make SuperValu the go-to supermarket for all their grocery needs.
Problem Statement
When I go to SuperValu I want to minimise any problems my children may have by making them familiar with the shop, getting them in and out easily and making sure everything I want is there.
Though I claim to have created a solid project, it is not without its flaws. My persona is based on a mother of autistic children. This means that I focused on the needs of the mother without enough consideration for her autistic children. Though I reference wanting to gamify the in-store process, it was more of a reaction to realising that I maybe focused too much on the mother.Parking was a specific issue that was brought up in my user interview. Though I tried to minimise the pain points associated with parking at a supermarket/shopping centre, it has it’s limitations and doesn’t properly address the issue. I decided to focus on features that concern the SuperValu shop itself more.
